Can you imagine the level of finesse that would emerge from two designers, an architect and a lawyer collaborating to transform an old and abandoned 19th-century factory into several contemporary living spaces? The images say it all at The Lisboans.
The interior design of the apartments showcases a juxtaposition of the old and the new, with sizeable living spaces that focus on permeating light through the whole building and giving you a good view of the Baixa district below you.
The Lisboans want to give you a formal introduction into their gorgeous city and neighbourhood, where the people and their jovial demeanours will give you a sense of belonging, giving Lisbon a home-away-from-home feel. The central location of the apartments provides you with the perfect platform for exploration to give you the best chance of falling in love with this beautiful metropolis.
Everything you see in each of the 15 rooms has been personally selected by the owners; from the local works of art on the wall to the handmade tiles and unique flea market discoveries. The Lisboans' focus is on creating modern living spaces that still preserve the traditional elements of Portuguese design.
Alongside the apartments, the neighbouring restaurant, Prado, has also made quite the name for itself over the past few years. Offering farm-to-fork dining in which every ingredient used is sourced responsibly and grown locally, The Lisboans wanted to create delicious dishes that pay respect to the preservation of their sacred landscape.
Did someone say breakfast in bed? Here at The Lisboans, you will get a knock on your door every morning with a breakfast delivery from the hotel's very own grocery store, which serves seasonal and artisan products all year round.
