Would London really be London if it were not for its glitzy array of festive experiences at every turn? It really is one of those cities that takes the holidays in its stride and we’re certainly not complaining. Ranging from winter cinemas and ice skating to enough Christmas markets to purchase a gift for everyone in the country, we’ve found a favourite London pop-up in the Southbank Winter Festival and it's certainly one of the best free events in London this year.
Brimming with offerings of mulled cider, street food, wooden chalets selling artisanal and local products, art installations including Squidsoup, theatre productions including Black Beauty and a classic grotto to round it all off, the festival truly indulges all the senses leaving you with a warm and fuzzy feeling right through the winter season.
