London - United Kingdom
Built in 1910 this imposing Edwardian building was the product of an architectural competition set by the mayor to create a new town hall that befit the areas aspirations. Since then it has survived the blitz and been graced by Hollywood stars as the location for films such as Atonement and Brideshead Revisited. Despite its glamorous appearance the building fell into disrepair until in 2007 restoration began to restore the Town Hall to its original glory. The result is the sleek and sophisticated collection of rooms and apartments offset by preserved architecture, in the heart of London’s East End.
