PuLi is a cutting-edge, contemporary hotel in the heart of the city that doubles as an oasis and a retreat. Visually the look is definitely Mandarin Modern - a completely contemporary interpretation of the spatial values, colours and materials that typify Chinese tradition.

The Location

Next door to Shanghai's impressive Jing'an temple complex and immediately adjacent to Jing'an park, PuLi is one of the few, if only hotels in Shanghai to be blessed with green surroundings.

The Rooms

The guest rooms are unusual not just in their balance between East and West, and the juxtaposition of tradition vs. modernity, but also in that they manage to feel more like a funky apartment than a hotel room.

Nibbles & Tipples

Dine at the PHÉNIX Eatery & Bar, a one Michelin star restaurant offering a touch of luxury with its exquisite French-themed dishes curated by the famous Chef Michael Wilson.

At 32m long the long bar is exactly what it says; one of the longest bars in Asia. What the name doesn’t convey is that the space is dominated by a massive expanse of glass providing an engaging view over Jing An Park.
