La Segreta
There’s a moment, just as you round the bend of a quiet country lane, when the world seems to exhale. At La Segreta, the farmhouse is not merely a place to stay—it's a deeply personal chapter of Umbrian history. Once a gathering place for the battuto—the ancient ritual of grain-beating—this rose-covered estate now invites guests into a more leisurely rhythm.
Inside, two conjoined stone houses form a single, harmonious dwelling with four spacious bedrooms, each boasting a private terrace and en suite. Jasmine and wisteria climb the walls, and one lucky guest can take a soak in an outdoor bathtub beneath a floral canopy. Meals unfold in the chef-ready kitchen or outside by the grill, with seasonal ingredients plucked from your own vegetable garden.
The 70-acre estate welcomes up to eight guests (plus two children), with a shallow-ended pool perfect for family splashes.
